do skills stay unlocked after a trial key? - Guild Wars Forums

Its just I have this cunning plan to get flesh golem on my necro using an epic trial key and a signet of capture. After I get the skill on my necro and my time runs out will it be blanked out or can I still use it? TY.

Skills unlocked for a chapter you don't own stay unlocked, but you can not use them until you purchase that chapter. Meaning if you cap it you won't have to recap it after the trial runs out, but you won't be able to use it either.

I think Hockster said it pretty good. You can go and cap it if you want and you'll be able to use it while your epic trial key is still active, but once the trial key ends, (If I remember correctly), the skill will be "grayed" out until you buy the full version. Sorry for bursting your bubble.

However... DUN DUN DUN... you can use some special Unien-tested, Unien-approved hax to use it. How you ask? Heroes! I know this because I used the epic trial key to get Zenmai (who you also keep) and you can continue to use Locked skills on all of your heroes even after the trial key wears off.
